when participating in literate rp, i make an effort to stay true to the character's established personality as much as possible. however, in more lighthearted and humorous contexts, i'm not afraid to depart from the character's canon personality in order to mess around.

PERSONALITY.
Hong Lu is a naïve individual seeking to experience peace in life. He can be described as a dunce, someone who says things without thinking it through. Being a rich kid, he's somewhat arrogant, especially due to the questions and comments he often has stored when he encounters something or someone he's never seen due to his sheltered life. Despite his oblivious nature, he's naturally a good-natured individual who, like the other sinners, seems to show signs in actually enjoying a good fight. He is also very curious and inquisitive, much like a fox due to the influence of the Sunshower E.G.O. He is always looking for new experiences and adventures, and he is not afraid to take risks or try new things. However, his lack of experience and street smarts can sometimes get him into trouble, and he may find himself in over his head in certain situations.Despite his privileged upbringing, Hong Lu has a surprisingly simple and unpretentious nature. He finds that he is happiest when he is surrounded by nature and the simple pleasures of life. He is content to sleep under the stars, to feel the warmth of the sun on his face, or to sit quietly by a stream and watch the fish swim by. Hong Lu's appreciation for the natural world is not just a passing fancy; it is an integral part of his personality. He finds that he is most at peace when he is surrounded by the beauty and serenity of nature. He has learned to find joy in the small things in life, and he is grateful for every moment that he gets to spend free and living his own life. HISTORY.
Hong Lu was born into an affluent family, and he lived a life of privilege and luxury for many years. However, he became a sinner and joined the company, seeking a different kind of freedom and adventure. Although he has a certain admiration for the simple and carefree life of the sinners, he sometimes struggles to understand their culture and way of life. He may ask ignorant or unsavory questions about their food or other aspects of their lifestyle, which can cause irritation and frustration among the other sinners.It is important to note, however, that Hong Lu's questions are driven by curiosity rather than malice. He is genuinely interested in learning about the world around him, and he does not mean to offend or belittle anyone. Despite his occasional missteps, Hong Lu is a good-natured and well-intentioned individual, and he is always eager to explore new ideas and experiences.Details of Hong Lu's past are currently vague, as his origin game does not provide much information about his backstory. Thanks to the influence of the Sunshower E.G.O, Hong Lu has acquired certain fox-like traits, including light brown shaggy fox ears and a fox tail. In addition, he has the ability to transform into a version of the Drifting Fox when he goes through the mentally dangerous phenomenon of "corrosion." In this form, his appearance and behavior change to reflect the personality and destructive nature of the Abnormality that the E.G.O originated from, which in Hong Lu's case is the Drifting Fox. This transformation gives him enhanced strength, speed, and agility, as well as heightened senses and reflexes.Aside from his transformation abilities, Hong Lu is also proficient in using umbrellas as weapons in combat. He has trained extensively in various umbrella fighting styles, and he can use them to block and deflect attacks as well as to deliver powerful strikes of his own. HEADCANONS.
Although he is generally good-natured and well-intentioned, Hong Lu has a mischievous streak that sometimes gets him into trouble. He enjoys playing pranks on his fellow sinners and occasionally takes risks just for the thrill of it.
He has a secret love of sweets and desserts. Although he tries to maintain a healthy diet, he can't resist indulging in a slice of cake or a scoop of ice cream when the opportunity arises.
His ears are incredibly sensitive to sounds, allowing him to hear even the faintest noises from far away. His tail is highly expressive and can convey a wide range of emotions, from happiness and excitement to fear and anxiety.
Despite their usefulness, Hong Lu sometimes finds his fox ears and tail to be a hindrance. He may accidentally knock over objects with his tail or get it caught in doorways, and his ears can be overwhelmed by loud or sudden noises.
Normally, he has a rather positive relationship with Don Quixote, but this has changed significantly because of Hong Lu's newly gained fox traits. He now finds Don Quixote's loud and boisterous personality to be overwhelming, especially when she goes on her tirades about justice and righteousness. Her tendency to scream at the top of her lungs can be painful and distressing for Hong Lu's sensitive fox ears, and he often tries to avoid being in the same room as her when possible.
Hong Lu has a talent for playing the ocarina, a small wind instrument that produces a soft, melodic sound. He learned how to play the instrument as a child and enjoys playing it whenever he gets the chance. When he's wandering on his own, he often takes out his ocarina and plays simple tunes to entertain himself and pass the time.
Hong Lu has a fear of being confined or trapped, known as cleithrophobia. He feels anxious and panicky when he's in situations where he feels like he can't escape, and he may experience physical symptoms such as sweating or trembling. This fear developed after he left his strict and sheltered life to join the company, as he was finally able to experience freedom and independence for the first time.
